Sales Manager – Heavy Trucks

Our Client is a regional leader in the automotive sector; It represents some of the world’s
leading auto brands in MENAT and its subsidiaries in Egypt plays an important role in its growth
The role of the position holder will lead the Sales department of their heavy trucks business by
defining and implementing Sales strategy, managing Salesforce and sales activities in order to
achieve company sales objectives (units), Customer Satisfaction, efficient logistics as well as
profitability targets.

Main responsibilities:

Sales Strategy:

  • Defining Annual Sales plan 
  • Defining Sales Balance Scorecard and KPI
  • Setting Sales annual targets and budgets
  • Analyzing the market environment and Setting Sales Forecasts
  • Developing Sales policies & procedures to optimize processes & controls

Retail Sales Management: 

  • Sales force training, coaching and motivating and Optimizing best people fit in the position
  • Allocating of material and Human Resources to maximize sales units, Customer satisfaction and Profitability
  • Setting and monitoring monthly targets for Individuals and Branches
  • Approving special discounts
  • Approving Sales Force Incentive payment (Monthly)
  • Ensuring that the sales staff is complying with the company procedures

Dealers Network Management: 

  • Selecting dealers based on company chart (requirements) to meet territory coverage and business growth
  • Managing Dealers agreement and Sales annual contracts
  • Setting annual Dealers targets and ensuring monthly follow-up
  • Proposing and approving Dealers Incentive program
  • Supervising Sales DEP program (Dealers Enhancement Program) and suggesting improvement action plan
  • Ensuring compliance of Dealers to company requirements (CSI, discounts, Sales headcount, capacity, stock, etc.)

Key Accounts Management: 

  • Leading of Sales negotiations with key Accounts and Fleet Accounts:
  • Leading the sales negotiations with Key Accounts
  • Defining & approving offers and contracts
  • Defining Key Accounts list and discounts
  • Controlling KPI's
  • Approving special deals in coordination with Marketing Division, finance and CSOD

Sales Field Operation:

  • Supervision of the sales trade promotions to optimize trade deal spending and achieving volume targets. The establishment of Sales prospecting priorities and guidelines.

Market Intelligence:

  • Comprehensive and ongoing analysis of competitors’ core competencies, vulnerabilities, activities and current and potential positions in the marketplace.


  • Sound experience of at least 7+ years in the automotive industry, of which at least 3 years has been in the heavy trucks or trucks fitting areas.
  • Must have a good recent experience in Egypt’s market.
  • Solid experience in sales or business development, and having a technical background are a plus. 
  • Good experience in the sales planning and forecasting 
  • Good experience in develop, coach and train salesforce. 
  • Experience in using CRM systems is an advantage
